Homebase Automation, LLC dba NOOK ("NOOK", "us" or "we") is an innovative solution to your home renovation needs. We streamline the process of achieving the home of your dreams—right at your fingertips. To do that, we gather and store important information relating to you and your household, including personal information. We share that information with third-party service providers who process your data on our behalf to help run our business, under stringent contractual provisions that protect your personal information. However, NOOK will never share your personal information with an unaffiliated third party without your express permission.
Purpose and Scope
This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand how we and our affiliates collect, secure, use, and disclose your personal information in connection with our services. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect from you and from third parties, both online and off, whether you access us via our websites or other electronic means, including Android and iOS mobile apps.
By accessing or using the BuiltwithNook or Nook-Pro website, or otherwise providing us with personal information, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and any updates we make to it. Marketing

California Residents' Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the "Shine the Light" Law and the California Consumer Privacy Act. The California Code of Regulations defines a "resident" as:

The California Consumer Privacy Act
The California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") is a law designed to enhance the privacy rights of California residents. CCPA applies to certain companies that do business in California. It gives residents certain rights regarding the Personal Information businesses collect about them. This includes the right to request disclosure, access, or deletion of your Personal Information, the right to direct a business to stop selling your Personal Information, and the right to non-discrimination upon exercising your rights. Please know that NOOK does not sell your Personal Information.
The Right to Request Disclosure
California residents have the right to ask NOOK to disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information that we have collected about you in the previous 12 months (and still retain). If you would like to exercise your right to request disclosure, please submit your request in writing by emailing us (please state "Right to Request Disclosure" in your subject line) at PrivacyOfficer@builtwithnook.com
Upon authenticating your identity and that the request is reasonable, we will provide you with this information in writing, free of charge, within 45 days of receipt of your request. Or, if reasonably necessary (and upon notice to you), within 90 days. If applicable, we will also disclose:

The Right to Request Deletion
You can ask us to delete your Personal Information. If you do, we will respect your request and delete the information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law, such as the exercise by another consumer of his or her right to free speech, our compliance requirements resulting from a legal obligation, or any processing that may be required to protect against illegal activities.

The Right to Opt Out of the Sale of Personal Information
NOOK does not sell your personal information.
Right to Non-Discrimination
NOOK will not discriminate against you (e.g., through denying services or providing a different level or quality of goods or services) for exercising any of the rights afforded to you.
Third Party Sign On
We allow you to register for and access our websites using third-party sign-on with Google and Facebook. NOOK is not responsible for the privacy, practices, or actions of these companies when facilitating this authentication protocol.
Links To Other Websites
Our websites may link to third-party websites, online services, or mobile applications and/or contain advertisements from third parties that are not affiliated with us—and which may link to other websites, services, or applications. Please be aware that NOOK is not responsible for the privacy or practices of other websites. We do not make any guarantee regarding those third-party websites, services, or applications, and we are not liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of such sites. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy. You should review the policies of the third parties and contact them directly if you have any questions about their services.

Do Not Track Disclosure
Many web browsers offer a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature, allowing users to indicate their preference not to have their online browsing activities monitored or collected. NOOK respects this DNT signal and refrains from collecting telemetry data when you enable this setting in your browser.
Information Retention
We will only keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us to keep your personal information for longer than six (6) months past the termination of the user's account.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize your information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
Information From Minors
NOOK's platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age. NOOK does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13 years of age. By using the services, you represent that you are at least 13 or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to the minor's use of the services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 13 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Changes To This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes on our websites or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to periodically check for updates and changes to this Privacy Policy because your use of our services after the updates have been made, and we have notified you as required by law, constitutes your acceptance of its terms—even if you have not reviewed the updates. Any updated version will be indicated by a new "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
